The Beat the Street physical activity game is coming to Stockton-on-Tees!



Beat the Street Stockton-on-Tees takes place from Wednesday, 2nd March until Wednesday, 13th April and is free for anyone of any age who would like to take part. It will also be taking place across Redcar and Cleveland at the same time. Children use a card and map which will be provided by participating primary schools, and adults can pick up a free card from one of the distribution points which will be listed on the Beat the Street Stockton-on-Tees website.



Beat the Street Stockton-on-Tees has been commissioned by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council with support from the National Lottery via Sport England. It is being delivered by Intelligent Health.

Cllr Jim Beall, Cabinet Member for Health, Leisure and Culture at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, said: “We’re very excited to be bringing Beat the Street to the Borough. It’s a fun, inclusive game that encourages you to exercise from your front door and to clock up the miles on foot or by bike, and helps to encourage great lifestyle habits.
