The Beat the Street game is coming to Harwich and Dovercourt!

Beat the Street will be taking place across the areas of Harwich and Dovercourt this autumn.

The five-week game takes place from 29th September until 3rd November and is open to anyone of any age who would like to take part. Players take part in a school team or a community team to find the 35 Beat Boxes installed across Harwich and Dovercourt.

Local Physical Activity Pilot Co-ordinator at Active Essex Cheryl Lomas said: “We are incredibly excited to be bringing Beat the Street to Harwich and Dovercourt having seen the impact that the game had when it came to Clacton a few years ago.”

Beat the Street in Harwich and Dovercourt is delivered in partnership with Tendring District Council, Active Essex Local Delivery Pilot, Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST), National Lottery and Sport England, and Intelligent Health.

More information will be available at and on social media at @CVSTendring
